The Most Beautiful Buildings in Limerick, Ireland
"A stall in the Milk Market, Limerick|© William Murphy/ Flickr. Made up of a small warren of tiny stores and a great open space of less permanent stalls, The Milk Market is a longstanding Limerick shopping hot spot that’s become fashionable, crafty, organic and local-leaning in recent years. The building itself is a square block around a peaked-canopy courtyard where most of the action takes place."

Well worth the stroll over the Shannon, Bakehouse 22 offers great coffee and a friendly service. Unfortunately, the seated café area is closed due to restrictions, however they continue to serve their customers with a smile."

"The Good Room in Adare was founded by Claire Staunton in 2009 with the aim of combining the elements of a café, a bistro and a bakery, put together in a very luxe, stylish room. Twelve successful years later The Good Room has become synonymous with locals and visitors alike for serving simple, uncomplicated food that’s bursting with flavour. Where possible, we cook and bake as much as we can in-house."

Top 5 Coffee Shops You Must Visit in Limerick
"Discovered this particular place on my way to a rugby game on, again, another Sunday morning. Located in a really cool all-glass circular building that I’m pretty sure used to be the tourism center, Chez Le Fab is a combination vintage clothing coffee shop, the first I personally have ever stumbled across!. So it’s super easy to grab a coffee and do some browsing through the pretty clothing, or admire some of the displayed jewelry made by local artists for sale."

15 Best Things to Do in Limerick (Ireland
"The Williamite War came to an end in this city in 1691 with the second Siege of Limerick. Catholic Irish and French Jacobite forces were eventually defeated by the Protestant Williamites, from Ulster, England, Scotland, the Netherlands and Denmark. The Treaty of Limerick was signed on 3 October 1691, and was a turning point in Irish history, leading to the “Flight of the Wild Geese”, when 24,000 Catholics left the country for France."

Must-Visit Attractions in Limerick, Ireland
"Not an overly impressive sight in its own right, Limerick’s Treaty Stone symbolises an agreement that ended the Williamite War. The truce didn’t last for long, and the events that led to it still echo on. It’s not an overly impressive relic in its own right, but it has fantastic views, a plaque explaining the history (which dates back to 1691) and offers a real sense of stepping back in time."
