The 11 Best Pubs in Galway
"The heart of Galway is brimming with restaurants and pubs, but it is worth the trip out to the Salthill area to experience more of the city, as well as to stop for a pint at O’Connor’s. The pub considers itself famous for its singsongs and it is certainly famous among the visitors who fill the bar in the summer. The cheery yellow pub has adopted a “more is more” approach to decorations so it can be hard to know where to look when you first step inside."

12 Best Galway Pubs and Bars for a Guinness
"If you’re strolling down Upper Salthill Road, it’s pretty hard to miss this Galway bar. Painted a sunny yellow, with “O’Connor’s” in bold black lettering, this is a favored bar for many locals. Once inside, the decor will likely blow you away; knickknacks and odds and ends are hanging from every free inch of space on the ceiling."

SENSATIONAL SEAFOOD RESTAURANTS IN GALWAY
"Donnelly's Bar & Restaurant is an old local favourite that has been renovated to a beautifully modern finish. Located on the picturesque Barna Pier, it's the perfect location to appreciate the sea and its plentiful bounty!. Their menu packs a secret weapon that you won't find anywhere else; Neptune's Seafood Treasure is a crepe filled with fresh salmon, cod and prawns in a white wine sauce, gratinated and topped with Hollandaise and breadcrumbs, and it's delicious!"

Top things to do in Ireland
"Watch chocolate being made in small batches using rare Trinitario cacao beans and raw sugar on a 45-minute tour of this heavenly smelling cottage-housed chocolate factory in a picturesque hillside location. If you don't catch a tour, peer through the factory's glass viewing windows from the chocolate-filled shop. Its on-site organic cafe (dishes €6.50 to €12.50) uses chocolate in creations like parsnip, cacao butter and white-pepper soup, and grilled halloumi and chocolate-and-plum-chutney toasties."

GALWAY’S BEST BRUNCH SPOTS
"As soon as you sit down in Salthill’s Ground & Co, you’ll feel your worries slip away as comfort sets in. If you fancy starting your day with a dip in the sea, this spot is the perfect place for a post-swim brunch. Chef Leroy’s homemade sausage roll definitely deserves honourable mention, but the entire menu will get your stomach rumbling."

Best castles near Galway
"Leanmaneh Castle is a fantastic castle that is situated in the town of Leanmaneh North, in County Clare. The origins of the castle date back to the late 15th century, and it is believed to have been constructed by the O’Brien family; the castle was later renovated into a manor house, and it merged its function as a military centre with its residential qualities. The castle fell into ruin during the 18th century, and it has not been renovated since then; it exists on privately owned land, in a farming region of the area, and due to its poor-quality state, it is unfortunately not open to the public."

Best Restaurants In Salthill (10 Super TASTY Spots in 2021)
"These days people do like to know they’re eating locally grown food, they feel good about contributing to the economy, especially when they’re tourists, and the GFP in Salthill is all about fresh and locally grown food. Although this is one of the more casual places to eat in Salthill, the food packs a punch!. The Calamari is delicious, as is the Beef Burger and we shared a Nutella cheesecake, although ‘Himself’ was a bit greedy and had more than his share!"

Huevos rancheros, sandwiches and salads aplenty, they’ve even got some main courses that will really set you up for the day."
